Restorative yoga is a healing, gentle, and nurturing practice in which the body is fully supported by props, allowing us to connect to a deep sense of relaxation and ease. In this 60-minutes class, we will sink into poses for five to ten minutes, allowing time for the body to release deeply-held tension and connect with the innate healing capacity of prana. Practicing in this way helps to restore parasympathetic nervous system function, which in turn improves sleep quality, reduces chronic pain, and promotes an overall sense of calm and well-being.
